With a robust culinary background that spans restaurants across California and Pittsburgh, Chef Giuseppe has brought his heritage and passion to the Ohio Valley. Pastaio, his beloved trattoria, quickly became a local favorite known not just for its food, but for the authentic hospitality and rustic elegance that reflect his Sicilian roots.
Known simply as “Chef Giuseppe” by the community, his authenticity is unmatched. His love for food is sincere, and his devotion to his guests is felt the moment you walk through the door. The word Pastaio means “pasta maker” – a fitting name for a restaurant that revolves around house-made pasta prepared daily. Each dish highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients and honors Giuseppe’s generational family recipes, many of which shine in his holiday menus.
